A Nepali National has been shot dead in Westminster, Colorado Saturday evening. Mr. Birendra Thakuri from Kathmandu, Nepal-was shot by Westminster Police while he was walking in the local street with his own brother that evening. After the incident, Thakuri had immediately been sent to hospital where he was declared dead.

The police had also arrested his brother but ,he was released the next morning. Police had been to local federal drive street after it got information of an outcry from locals on telephone. It’s been stated that the police had conversed with Thakuri brothers as they approached the spot.

The dead body has now been kept in Adams County. It’s still been unclear about the cause behind the incident. The investigation is underway. The Thakuri family has been living in Westminster  for some years.
