Bangkok, Thailand, On the Occasion of Golden Jubilee of Thailand-Nepal diplomatic relation, Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Thailand, Youth Forum organized a Blood Donation Camp in Thai Red Cross Society, Bangkok, Thailand on 26th May 2018. An overwhelming number of Nepalese, Thai and people who love Nepal from other countries also participated and volunteered for blood donation showing a gesture of love and affection.
Mr. Junga Bahadur Gurung, Counsellor and Deputy Chief of Mission, The Embassy of Nepal in Thailand, participated in the camp along with other officers of the Embassy. NRNA International Coordination Council (ICC) member and Chair of Nepali Policy Institute, Mr. Khagendra Raj Dhakal , Mr. Sharad Neupane, executive member of Nepali Policy Institute, Mr. Thittinan Rojanaphanij, the first Thai Mount Everest climber, and Mr. Arjun Prasad Mainali, 163rd times blood donor from Nepal also participated and donated blood.
On behalf of NRNA Thailand, President Assajita Awale, thanked all the participants for their participation and support in the noble cause. He thanked NRNA Thailand team for the effort and hard work and congratulated for the success of the first NRNA Thailand blood donation camp.
The Thai Red Cross Society acknowledged more than 100 people participated to the camp of which 56 donors donated the blood. NRNA Thailand youth Coordinator Shreehari Acharya had coordinated the camp and also shared the code number given to NRNA Thailand by Thai Red Cross Society 0J0-428.
In Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) history, NRNA Thailand is 22nd country to organize blood donation abroad.
