MISS NEPAL NORTH AMERICA – EMPOWERING WOMAN TO EMPOWER NEXT GENERATION

Miss Nepal North America (MNA) – Miss Nepal North America is an international beauty pageant and a global platform for the Nepalese women of tomorrow. We are very pleased to announce that for the first time ever in the history of Nepalese Pageant, a pageant show that encompasses the entire continent of North America is going to take place on August 11 2018 in New York, NY. The event is a joint venture trademark pending event of Unnat International LLC and Dreams Universal LLC in local partnership with PNM and Lights Out Entertainment. With over 8 years of extensive experience in strategic event management, project management, and leadership management, the founding members and Miss Nepal North America Team have organized one of the best events in past in venues like Gotham Hall, Hammerstein Ballroom, The Fillmore, Queens Theater, The Melrose Ballroom, The State Theater, and many more. In past, the team has also been involved in rural development of Nepal, and has spent its resources in rehabilitation and reconstruction projects, and immediate relief efforts after the devastating Nepal earthquake of 2015.

EMPOWERING WOMAN INITIATIVE
Miss Nepal North America Team wants to highlight the issue of women’s empowerment and gender inequality as this issue has been at the height of discussion all across the world. Gender inequality is imminent in all cultures, especially in developing countries where gender inequality is proliferating compared to the developed countries. With the mission of “Empowering Nepalese women to empower next generation”, we specialize not only in pageantry, but also in enhancing innate talents, improving leadership skills, social skills, and in providing a solid platform for the Nepalese women of tomorrow. We aim to equip the women of tomorrow with the skill set needed to succeed in this ever changing and challenging environment. We hire the best of the best mentors, leadership coaches, beauty coaches, choreographers, and bring in successful personalities from the industry to shape the participants to succeed in participant’s future field of choice.

The winner of Miss Nepal North America 2018 will also get an opportunity to volunteer with an international non-profit organization that will be chosen by our extreme vetting process. We strongly believe that volunteering will allow the participants to get involved with challenging scenarios and develop technical, social, and academic skills that could not be learned in a classroom environment. Volunteering also enables the participants expand their network of contacts, as a way of building their network that will be their valuable asset in both academic and professional field in the future.

DESIGNERS AND CHOREOGRAPHERS
This is also a wonderful opportunity for new and upcoming designers and seasoned designers to showcase their talent. Miss Nepal North America’s grand finale will be graced by National and International Media and fashion enthusiasts. TITLES, AWARDS AND PRIZES
The winner will receive the Title of Miss Nepal America 2018. She will also receive an opportunity for magazine shoots and to represent an International Foundation in Nepal. The 1st Runner-Up and 2nd Runner-Up titles are also up for grabs. Together with the top 3 titles, there will also be titles for Miss Talent, Miss Popular (By Public Votes), Miss Photogenic, Miss Personality, Miss Discipline, and Miss Catwalk. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To compete for the title of Miss Nepal North America, all contestants must fulfill the following basic requirements:
• Age: Must be 18 to 27 at the time of application
• Marital Status: Must be single and never married
• Minimum height requirement: 5 feet 2 inches
• Minimum academic qualification: Must be a high school graduate
• Must reside in the North American Territories
• Must be of Nepali Origin
• Applicants must possess sound moral character and leadership skills
• Must be career driven and have a strong desire to succeed
